How do I list an Item?

From the homepage choose Sell and choose a Main category, Leaf category and where necessary a 2nd Leaf category.
If your item is to be offered in a 2nd Main category, then choose it too. When the Category number appears in the box then click the 'Continue' button.
You will now be taken to a page to select the Auction type:

Normal Auction without DirectBuy
Normal Auction with DirectBuy
GetItNow Item

Then click again 'Continue' and fill out the form.
The following fields must be completed - depending on Auction type (with/without DirectBuy price).
 

Title		Brief is best and with keywords which will enable it to be easily found via a search.
Shop Category Choice		If you have a Shop you will be asked to choose a Shop category.
Own Picture URL		You can enter your own URL here = http://www.... the address where your pictures are stored.
Picture Uploading		Click on 'Search' and locate the picture on your hard drive. The picture can be up to 400 KB but will be resized to 80 KB when uploaded.
Auction Duration		Here you choose how many days you would like the auction to run (up to 28 days)
Automatic Relisting		Here you can choose how often an item is automatically relisted (up to 10x)
Description and HTML Help		The better a description you write, the more chance there is of your item selling. Moreover, we offer a little HTML help that can help with writing your description.
Quantity of Items		Don't forget that the default amount here is 1 - if you wish to offer 2 items for the price of 1 you must enter '2'! If you have several of the same items available immediately and must be individually paid for, you should offer them of a DirectBuy auction.
Item Condition		Click and select.
Start Price		As favourable as possible, of course - but ensure it is a price you are willing to sell for in the event of it being sold at the start price.
DirectBuy Price		Here you can enter a price for which you would sell the item immediately.
Offer for Immediate Purchase		Available if you selected the DirectBuy auction format.
Bid Increment		The amount you wish the bid increments to be, beginning at 0.06 GBP.
Cost of Delivery		Click to select, or input an amount.
Send to		Here you can choose where you are willing to sell to. 1. only to your home country 2. throughout Europe 3. Worldwide 130 homepages of auXion are available worldwide.
Overseas Shipping		It is best to enter the information in your description.
Picture Preview		You can pay 0.07 GBP per picture, to have a preview picture visible on the category page before the item is clicked. This is free if you use ChargeControl.
Highlight Item		Costs 0.07 GBP
Main Page Listing		Your item can be listed on the Main page without a picture (1,57 GBP) (If the item sells, this fee is automatically refunded). Moreover, you can list under "All Offers" which lists the latest Top Offers.
Picture in the 1st Category Gallery		The item is listed in the Gallery of the first Category (0.23 GBP) under Top Offers.
After that, click on 'Continue' to see if it all looks how you want it to. Then click on 'Submit Item' and your auction will become live.

How do I amend an Item?

As long as no bids have been received, you may amend your item.
On the item page, click on "Change Auction Properties", give your Username and password and amend the item. Click on 'Preview' and if you are happy then click on 'Publish'. Finally a window appears. For example:

What do you want to do?

View the Auction
Go to My Account
Go to the Category

You can amend the: Title, 1st + 2nd Category, Shop Category, Picture, Automatic Relists,
Description, Quantity and Condition of items, Start Price,
DirectBuy Price, Increments, Shipping Methods and Costs.

How do I delete an Item?

As long as you have no bids, you may delete your item.
On the item page, click on  "Delete this Auction" ,


give your Username and password, and delete the item.

How do I change the Category?

One can move several items simultaneously, into another category.
So Click on -> My Account -> My Auctions -> Current. You will see a box labeled 'Change'.


For the items whose categories you wish to change, tick the boxes next to the item(s)


then click 'Continue' and choose the new category and click 'Continue' once more.

How do I leave feedback?

You can leave feedback for trading partners by going to "My Account"
Then click on "My Feedback" and a window opens with transaction awaiting feedback in it.

As a rule, the newest item is at the top!
You can sort by date or user!

Then you click (!!) on , positive, neutral or negative - and write your comment in the box.

(e.g..: everything is great-many thanks! or fast delivery - great item)
depending on whether you are buyer or seller. Next click on 'Submit feedback' and you will now see the feedback you have left. You can check it has been left by clicking on 'Feedback Left'.

Here you can see your previous successful activity. Also: how many items have been sold, bought etc.:

When an interested party clicks on your item he also sees these statements. The more positive feedbacks you have, the more sales you will encourage !

How can I block bidders from my auctions?

Click on the following in sequence :
-> My Account -> My Personal Information
on this page under Personal Information you will see the options to the right of the page for blocking bidders



One enters the usernames - e.g.: sausewind - click on "add" and then click on "Change". The name now appears in the "Blocked Bidder" field! If you change your mind and want to allow the bidder to bid on your auctions again, click on the name in the "blocked bidder" field and then on "Delete" and "Change"

How do I use the bid agent?

The bid agent places proxy bids up to your maximum.  You can your maximum amount in the bid window, and the system will offer just enough at a time to make you the high bidder, up to your maximum amount. This is the  "Agent". The "Agent" helps you when you can't be at the computer to place new bids. Naturally it only bids up to your maximum amount specified.

How do I place a picture on my auction?

When the picture is on your computer (Hard Drive):
On the Publish your Auction form under  "Select image from your computer" click on browse :
The picture may be up to 400 kb but will be resized to 80kb. Next a window opens to choose your picture and when you choose it and click open, your picture will appear on the form. For pictures with a URL: then you can simply use the box labeled 'Image URL'. Important! The picture name can not have spaces, Umlauts ä ö or other special characters # %!

DirectBuy Auctions

With a DirectBuy auction you can sell your item immediately at a set price.

With a DirectBuy auction with start price, the DirectBuy price must be at least 0.06 GBP more than the start price. The buyer can end the auction immediately by choosing DirectBuy.

Charges

Our new fees as from 1st of may 2009:

Test flatrate: insert up to 20 items for free! No fees at all, even if you sell!
Professional flatrate: From 21 items on only 8,-$ a month (incl. VAT). Shop included!

fee is calculated, once items have been insertet for at least 1 day a month.
Our program automatically counts the day with the most items online and books its corresponding flatrate fee at the end of the month.

Termination:
The flatrate and the shop can be terminated until the 25th of a month. The termination must arrive at auxion.com in written form (e.mail) until the 25th of  the month. Terminations which arrive after this day automatically extend fees for 1 month. A complete termination of registry at auxion can be done in "My account" at the left hand side.

Special features to choose:
Highlighted item (displayed on mainpage) costs 4,- $ incl. VAT
Items highlighted in their category cost 0,45 $ incl. VAT
Bold items cost 0,15 $ incl. VAT each.

Shops with less than 20 articles uploaded are not free of charge!
Monthly fee for shops is then 8,-$ incl. VAT
Shop fees are booked, even if there are no items uploaded.

In the following categories no fees are booked at all: Cars, Car brands, Vehicles, Others, Motorbikes, Oldtimer, Caravans.

Special fees for books:
Second hand book shops: One time costs of  30,-$ for installation of interface. No further costs, even for successful selling.
Book shops which sell new books: One time costs of 30,-$ for interface connection, 8,-$ monthly fees, no matter how many items you sell.

Competitions

Periodically auXion offers competitions to members.
These will be advertised in newsletters and cafes.

Buyers who don't pay!

When buyers do not pay, a yellow marker is shown next to their name on their auXion account, which all can see.

If a 2nd item is unpaid, a 2nd marker is given. If a third item is unpaid the member becomes blocked! For sellers who do not send items, if the matter isn't resolved, the member becomes temporarily suspended.

For buyer and seller warnings we have new provisions since December 2003.

In My Account under My Auctions dann Sold you will find a symbol for each item. On the left is the buyer's name. If you click on the item number you can send a warning to your trading partner. Please read the additional information.  After 3 reminders, you can select to cancel the transaction. We can then automatically send an email to confirm the transaction is cancelled.

Recommend a Friend

You can write to your customers with a link for them to join auXion.
When they register using the link, your username will be linked to them.

A shop costs 3,48 Euro per month, and you will be charged each year (41,76 Euro).

In the shop you can choose up to 20 personal categories.
6 Top Items may also be highlighted on the shop home page.
Items can be listed for your chosen duration.
